LEGACY VS MODERN

Why “repeaters” are obsolete.

> The Old Model (Extenders)A repeater picks up the Wi-Fi signal and rebroadcasts it. But since it has only one radio, it spends half its time listening and the other half talking. Result: bandwidth is halved at every hop. It also often creates a second network (“MyWiFi_EXT”), forcing the user to reconnect manually.
> The Mesh ModelThe Captivux mesh system uses a Dedicated Backhaul (a 5 GHz or 6 GHz radio band reserved solely for AP-to-AP communication). Result: bandwidth stays at 100%. The network broadcasts a single name (SSID) end to end.

MILITARY-GRADE RESILIENCE

Self-Healing Topology.

In a classic star architecture, if the central switch fails, the whole network dies. With the Captivux mesh protocol, every access point (node) communicates with all its neighbors.

  • If an AP (Node B) loses power, the adjacent nodes (Node A and C) automatically recompute the optimal route (adaptive routing) to forward IP packets with no human intervention.
  • This process takes less than 50 milliseconds. Connected users won’t even notice the hardware failure.
MASSIVE B2B DEPLOYMENT

Extreme Density & Smart Coverage.

Designed for stadiums, university campuses and luxury hotels. A Captivux mesh network can aggregate up to 10,000 access points under a single logical infrastructure, managed from one control panel (single pane of glass).

Band Steering
Automatically pushes compatible devices to the 5 GHz/6 GHz band to relieve congestion on 2.4 GHz.
Airtime Fairness
Prevents old devices (Wi-Fi 4) from slowing the whole network by limiting their airtime.
